Timeline

This is my detailed timeline of my PC events. It helped me reading everyone elses so hopefully this will help another future volunteer. 

• December 2009 - Introduction to Peace Corps.
• December 2009 to June 2010 - read anything I can get my hands on regarding the Peace Corps.
• June 31, 2010 - Submitted very long and detailed Application and Heath Questionare
• July 12, 2010 - Went to general info session even though I already applied
• July to September 2010 - concentrated on Graduating from college, and waited for references to be sent in.
• September 2, 2010 - Interview with Recruter. It took over 2 hours but thanks to wiki I had a good idea about most of the questions.
• September 5, 2010 - Recived medical packet in  mail.
• Septermber 29, 2010 - Recived my official nomination to Sub-Saharan Africa in March 2011 for Health Extension
• September and October 2010 - Health Insurance debacle
• October 28, 2010 - Full day of blood vials, multiple needle pokes and full medical exam.
• November 8, 2010 - Dental exam where i found out that i need a filling but thankfully no need to pull my wisdom teeth :)
• November 20, 2010 - I sent in my compleated meadical paperwork.
• November 23, 2010 - Got my tooth filled. and laughed every time i touched the side of my face that was numb, it is a crazy feeling.
• November 24, 2010 - Toolkit update saying the PC recived my medical paperwork
• Decmber 6, 2010 - Another toolkit update stating a decision was reached regarding my medical
• December 8, 2010 - Email from placement assistant requesting updated resume, and sent said resume.
• December 9, 2010 - Recived medical clearance letter
• December 14, 2010 - Recived another email from placement stating that the program I was nominated for was already full and that she is looking for a spot for me sometime between April and June 2011.
• That leads us to today. Ill add more when I find out more.
